Calvin Kibwe Sydnor, IV, DPM, FACFAS

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Co-founder of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Center, P.C., Dr. Sydnor has been practicing since 1991. He is Board-Certified in foot and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric and Ankle Surgeons, a diplomat in the American Professional Wound Care Association, and he is a member of the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Sydnor specializes in Charcot reconstructive foot surgery and treating patients with heel pain. He served four years of active duty as Chief Podiatrist at an Army hospital. Dr. Sydnor is an avid pilot in his spare time.


Earnest P.S. Mawusi, DPM, FACFAS

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Co-founder of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Center, P.C., Dr. Mawusi has been practicing since 1994. He is certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. A member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. He has been a guest lecturer for many groups on topics to include the diabetic foot and total joint replacement in the foot. Dr. Mawusi is an Attending and instructs podiatry residents in foot surgery at the McGuire Richmond Veteran's Affairs Hospital. Dr. Mawusi performs generalized podiatric foot surgery and specializes in arthritic joint replacement and flat foot reconstruction. In his spare time he enjoys boating and relaxing on the beach.

Dawn Y. Bell, DPM, FACFAS

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Bell began her illustrious career caring for our military at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she completed her residency in Primary Podiatric Care. Dr. Bell would later expand her portfolio by becoming an attending Physician at Hunter Holmes McGuire, Independent Contracting Podiatrist at Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Center, and later Independent Contracting Podiatrist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where she has served the military community throughout Hampton Roads for over the last twenty-two (22) years. While there, Dr. Bell carved out her niche in diabetic foot care.

Dr. Bell was also assigned to the Norfolk Sports Clinic located at Norfolk Naval Station, which is an extension of the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. At the sports medicine clinic, Bell specialized in sports related injuries involving the foot and ankle. In addition, Dr. Bell was afforded the opportunity to mentor aspiring medical professionals in both the military and civilian community.
